Hi there, I am Anita.
I am a registered Psychologist and am incredibly passionate about my work. I completely understand
the uncertainty of taking your first step to seeking support and my aim is to make this experience
as easy as possible for you. It is always my priority to ensure you feel safe by providing a warm,
confidential, and nurturing space for you to have some headspace.
I believe the key to clinical work is building a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship with
clients where we work collaboratively to navigate the chaos and messiness of life and steer towards
a fuller, richer, and more meaningful experience of life. I also strongly advocate a humanistic and
holistic approach in therapy by drawing on each client’s unique experiences and strengths to
facilitate positive changes and to improve client’s overall wellbeing.

English, Chinese (Mandarin)
I am registered under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA). I am also a registered member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).
I love cooking, hiking, and spending time with my dog, a 4 year old Cane Corso 'Truffle'. I have been doing therapy dog training with her since 2022. Truffle and I volunteer at local schools and community centres in our spare time.
We believe that seeing a psychologist to improve your mental health and wellbeing should not be limited to addressing a specific psychological distress. We also welcome clients who want support for self development, work-life balance, goal setting, and other general life concerns in order to improve quality of life.
Standard sessions are $220 for a 50 minute appointment, but allow up to an hour. Clients with a valid GP referral may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $93.35 per session, reducing the of pocket costs.
We accept clients with third party funding for counselling sessions, such as NDIS (self and plan managed), WorkSafe Victoria, Traffic Accident Commission, and Victims of Crime. Please provide relevant funding details before making an appointment.
Payment will be processed after your session. Payment will be captured as the full private fee and, if accessing medicare rebates with a valid GP referral, we will process claims on your behalf within 2-5 days. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
If you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, please give at least 48 business hours’ notice. There will be a $50 to $220 cancellation fee for appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or not attended without informing us.
We provide both in person and Telehealth (online) psychology services.
You need a GP referral accompanied by a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP. If you are a non-Australian resident, you may claim your sessions through private health insurance or pay by private funding.
We do not provide bulk-billed sessions as we are a small private practice.
Please speak to your private health insurer directly about your level of cover, to see whether you're eligible to claim some or all of the cost of each psychology session.
We strongly recommend clients to book at least 3 sessions to ensure consistency because the calendar fills up quickly.
If you need to reschedule or even cancel our upcoming session, you can do so directly in your online client portal by following the instructions.
