Hi there, I am Anita.
I am a registered Psychologist and am incredibly passionate about my work. I completely understand the uncertainty of taking your first step to seeking support and my aim is to make this experience as easy as possible for you. It is always my priority to ensure you feel safe by providing a warm, confidential, and nurturing space for you to have some headspace.
I believe the key to clinical work is building a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients where we work collaboratively to navigate the chaos and messiness of life and steer towards a fuller, richer, and more meaningful experience of life. I also strongly advocate a humanistic and holistic approach in therapy by drawing on each client’s unique experiences and strengths to facilitate positive changes and to improve client’s overall wellbeing.

Languages Spoken:

English, Chinese (Mandarin)

Professional Associations

I am registered under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA). I am also a registered member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).

When I am not in the psychology room

I love cooking, hiking, and spending time with my dog, a 4 year old Cane Corso 'Truffle'. I have been doing therapy dog training with her since 2022. Truffle and I volunteer at local schools and community centres in our spare time.
